Frac Pump Union Flange is the core connection component of the suction and discharge ends of the fracturing pump. It adopts a quick connection structure design. Its notable feature is that it has a rotatable union joint, which can be quickly disassembled and assembled under high pressure, greatly shortening the time for equipment maintenance and pipeline replacement. This flange is usually forged with high-strength alloy steel, and the surface is treated with anti-corrosion. It can withstand the corrosive fluids and pressures commonly seen in fracturing operations (usually up to 10,000 psi or more). It is widely used in the connection between fracturing pumps and suction manifolds and discharge manifolds.

The ​Frac Pump Discharge Flange is dedicated to the output end of the high-pressure fluid of the fracturing pump and is directly connected to the discharge pipeline. Its structural design needs to focus on the bearing capacity of high-pressure impact force. Compared with the union flange, the discharge flange has higher sealing performance requirements and is usually equipped with a metal sealing ring or a combined sealing structure to prevent leakage of high-pressure fluids. In addition, the flange surface of the discharge flange is processed with extremely high precision to ensure a close fit with the pipeline flange, which is commonly seen in the connection between the discharge end of the fracturing pump and the high-pressure riser and manifold. ​

Frac Pump Blind Flange is mainly used to plug the flange interface of the fracturing pump or temporarily isolate the pipeline. Its structure is a solid disc with bolt holes on the edge that match the corresponding flange. When the fracturing equipment is overhauled, the pipeline is modified or idle, the blind flange can effectively prevent impurities from entering the pump body or pipeline system, and at the same time, play a role in safety isolation. The material of the blind flange must be consistent with the connecting flange to ensure the pressure resistance and compatibility of the overall structure, and avoid stress concentration or uneven corrosion caused by material differences. ​

Although these three types of flanges have different functions, they together constitute a safe connection network for the fracturing pump fluid system, and their performance directly affects the efficiency and safety of fracturing operations.
