Frac Pump Cap Nuts

Frac Pump Cap Nut is a key fastening component of fracturing equipment in oil and gas production. It is mainly used to fix the cylinder head and pump body of the fracturing pump to ensure the sealing performance of the fluid channel under high-pressure conditions. ​

This component is usually forged with high-strength alloy steel. After heat treatment, it has tensile strength and impact toughness, and can withstand instantaneous pressure shocks of up to 100MPa or more in fracturing operations. Its inner wall is processed with precision threads to form a tight fit with the cylinder head bolts. The thread surface is often phosphated or nickel-plated to enhance wear resistance and corrosion resistance, and adapt to the corrosive environment of sand-containing high-pressure fluids. ​

In terms of structural design, Frac Pump Cap Nut mostly uses a hexagonal or dodecagonal head, which is convenient for quick loading and unloading with a special wrench to meet the needs of efficient operation at the fracturing site. Some models have a sealing groove at the bottom of the nut, which can be used with an O-ring or copper gasket to further improve the sealing effect and prevent leakage of high-pressure fluids.​
