D-type Sealing Rings

D-type Sealing Ring is a uniquely structured sealing element, named for its "D"-like cross-section, which combines sealing performance with structural stability. Its design cleverly combines the pressure-bearing capacity of a rectangular sealing ring with the elastic compensation characteristics of an O-ring. The flat part can provide a stable support surface and effectively disperse the contact pressure, while the curved side can adapt to the slight deviation of the sealing surface through its deformation, ensuring good sealing under dynamic or static conditions. ​

The sealing ring is usually made of oil-resistant and temperature-resistant nitrile rubber, fluororubber, and other materials. Different materials can be selected according to the use environment to meet the temperature range of -60℃ to 200℃ or even wider. At the same time, it has good tolerance to hydraulic oil, fuel, water, and a variety of chemical media. During installation, its asymmetric structure can accurately match the specific groove design to reduce the risk of leakage caused by assembly deviation.
